Once all the reorganization which were working on is done, we want to put the latest complete set of all the assets in various game asset stores. For free, of course!

I already found a couple:

Gamemaker Marketplace
Unity Asset Store
Scirra Construct Store
OpenGameArt.org
itch.io
DeviantArt

Any more recommended stores which I should look into?

The plan is to upload a new update on the complete set to such stores once a year. We're working hard on the 2017 edition of the OPP!

Other places to promote:

TIGsource
GameMaker Community
Ludum Dare blog & reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/ludumdare/
Other reddits?
https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/

On these communities I want to ask questions such as: What do you want to get out of a project like these? Which assets would you love to see? What can you contribute?

Any suggestions for inspiring questions or communities to share our work with are welcome!

I think it would useful to game devs to split it up into themed sets (jungle, town, etc) in addition to a complete set. Nobody likes downloading a big set knowing they only need a small specific part of it.

I don't feel like deviantArt is an appropriate place for this. It's not against the rules there, but it's just not really what the community's for? They also don't have a category appropriate for pixel stock art or stock game art (which is probably why people don't go there looking for the stuff).

If anyone on the OPP has a Tumblr with more than a handful of followers, make an OPP master post there with links to the set(s). If it's visual, it'll likely make pretty big rounds on Tumblr.
