Hello,

My name is Edward Cha and I have enjoyed doing pixel art for years (without knowing what it was called) as a hobby, but would like to begin doing some freelance work (if given the opportunity!).

My portfolio can be found at my website:

(Most of the art was made for a freeware game engine that I am involved in (which has certain constraints such as sprite size increments of 48 pixels, two animation frames only, etc.))

(Other incidental skills that may be useful include proficiency with East Asian languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean), etc.)

If anyone is interested, I would love to hear from you!  Please feel free to PM me here or e-mail me at echaecha(at)gmail.

Note that I have updated my website (and portfolio) - lots of new images added (anime-esque images, etc.).

why do i see an edit of Gouki/Akuma in your images?

besides, -no ofense- but i'm afraid to say, most of your images aren't what we could call 'pixel art'. mainly due the use of gradients and other automated tools...

That is not an edit of Gouki/Akuma - it is a parody of Gouki/Akuma.  (If you know the comic, it might be funny...)

Also - I made almost all of those images exclusively using Microsoft Paint - which has no gradients.  (Most of my images only have palettes of a few colors, even if they look smooth.)
