If this image were really representative of my Inner Child, he would breaking somebody's window with his Inner Slingshot.  I'm only uploading him for use as a temporary avatar, until I can do something more appropriately monstery.

I assumed that was what you meant, which was rather egotistical of me, now that I think of it.  Off I go to meditate on humility.

You're welcome!

I just realize my comment might have been ambiguous.

I only mean the hands movement is unbelievably well done!

@manupix

Thanks very much for the compliment!

I think I actually used to do that with my hands when I was a kid--I had some very dynamic, loose-jointed way of flopping them around while walking.  It wasn't until years later that it struck me how doofy it must have looked.

Ah, subtle, yet powerful - I like the way you think

The best walking anim for months, no less. The hands movement is just unbelievable.

@ninja crow

>then one day, unexpectedly, he will transform into some kind of monster!

Or he could be walking as he is, and then sort of extrude a tentacle from somewhere, absent-mindedly scratch his butt with it, and continue as before... :)

Thanks very much for the kind words!

Very smooth and charming animation, and you nailed the walk cycle - six frames maybe?

I like the idea that your avatar is going to be this unassuming little kid, then one day, unexpectedly, he will transform into some kind of monster!

Your skills suggest that you are going to quickly become one of this site's pixel monsters, too!

A hearty welcome to the Pixel Joint
