I'm not happy with it at all. that front hind leg especially. I have no more time this week to work on it though. (probably spent about 4 hours on this between all my mass amounts of Uni wok)

Yeah not very good either way. It's meant to be a frilled neck lizard. The 8 colours were chosen from the Micrsoft pallet at random but resulted in a nice colour ramp. (although the light pink was a pain)

I like the color choices a lot, and the piece is quite dynamic

Makes him look a littleshorter than most (in length) but it does look better like that, certainly the lowering of the head for sure. How did I not spot the head being that much higher than necessary. -_-

@mulpy - I shall certainly keep that in mind along with the head position. ^_^

There's nothing wrong with how the body is colored or designed. The flaw is that you've exposed too much of it and it is breaking the perspective, making it look awkward. If you had moved the head in and forward just slightly like this:

It would have looked much better. Your color choices are fantastic though.

Ya man, the lighter pink along the spine should highlight it up nicely!

@mulpy - I tried to keep the body lower contrast to keep the head as a focal point. Do you think maybe using the lighter pink to add more highlights/tone to the body would help? I won't have time to alter before the challenge is up but after my Uni Semester is done I'm hoping to go through evrything again.

@prof4d - Thanks, I've never really been a fan of realistic colours so I enjoyed using this randomized ramp. =D

I think the frills look really good! Maybe the body could  have a little more coloration to it, but i think it's awesome so far.

Colors are not real, but I like it!
