Really detailed for a short walking animation.

Thank you all!

>KitKatFresse >Arkan85 >Bauske

Yes I know.
I'm not satisfied yet. Particularly, it is a lower part of the body.

I want to draw sprite more attractively.:)

user
Wugabuga (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/6/2014 09:49

this is really stunning but creepy at the same time :S

user
Arkan85 (Level 8 Rear Admiral) @ 2/5/2014 09:46

LunchPolice (Level 2 Kukyu) @ 2/5/2014 02:36

user
neota (Level 8 Shodan) @ 2/4/2014 05:39

Holy crap what.

Even with the proportions that are not to my preference, I am SERIOUSLY impressed.

user
Bauske (Level 4 Deputy) @ 2/3/2014 16:38

Animation is so time consuming even on a smaller scale that I can't imagine how much time this must've taken. Looks gorgeous too! The axe is really amazing, and I love her face. The only thing that bothers me are the pants. They look sorta messy, but also look like fabric. I can't see the individual frames to tell the difference. xD

DAT AXE!

You're insane and this is some serious work.

Looking forward to see her house. Your style is very interesting.

user
yaa (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/3/2014 12:23

Thank you all!

>Muxaun
/1) The default PJ grey background doesn't play very well for her.
/2) The color distance between the darkest and the brightest colors is too low: she looks misty.

When draw sprite, I always think it use for game. (even my own  training like this girl.)
Therefore ,I think sprite must  endure any  situation.

Take  background for example. Black , white,  forest,  in the house , of course grey too.
I want to show all naturally , and low contrast is easy to see  naturally anytime.

It's just my own thought , and might be wrong .;)
I love your colors, very beautiful. Background too. It's cool!
And I'm surprised , your work is very early. :)

>Muxaun
/3) She looks heavy and it is strange that her boots are leaving fragile grass and flowers intact.
>Mandrill
/A fancy backround with 2-3 moving layers at different paces would make it even better.

As you say I think.
I will try these at the next time (When I make her house).
But it may not be the animation because size becomes huge. :o

user
StoneStephenT (Level 8 Guerrilla) @ 2/3/2014 10:56

Oooh, this sprite has such a distinct style and 'life' to it that I don't often see with sprites of that size. The animation looks wonderful, too. Kudos to you for your effort!

user
Muxaun (Level 4 Deputy) @ 2/3/2014 10:40

Excellent work. I love the mood of this piece. And I love how exaggerated the movement of her shoulders is.

There are three things though:

1) The default PJ grey background doesn't play very well for her.
2) The color distance between the darkest and the brightest colors is too low: she looks misty.
3) She looks heavy and it is strange that her boots are leaving fragile grass and flowers intact.

Here's a quick edit for you to check it first two nitpicks are making any sense or not: i.imgur.com/1A6LM4r.gif   (I am not totally sure myself)

user
Mandrill (Level 8 Partner) @ 2/3/2014 09:52

Really, really awesome.

A fancy backround with 2-3 moving layers at different paces would make it even better.

user
jwvg0425 (Level 1 Intern) @ 2/3/2014 06:57

wow! it's amazing!

user
yaa (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/3/2014 00:45

Thank you all!

/DarkfalzX/Dr.D

No,I can not use 3d. I may do faster,more accurately, if i can use 3d.:) torso,,arm,,etc.

/Hiuru

Maybe,28-32hours.Slowly!:(

user
Dr D (Level 4 Shichikyu) @ 2/2/2014 18:00

I think the torso rotation is way over-exagerrated.

Some of the rendering is really nice, like the Axe-head, her belt, and the back of her shirt.

user
vrine (Level 5 Lieutenant) @ 2/2/2014 16:34

Wow, this seriously looks 3D!

user
DarkfalzX (Level 6 Hitman) @ 2/2/2014 15:59

Have you pixeled over a 3D model? Because it looks like you used a 3D core for this.

Also - like in many 3D objects - there is very little weight to it - her legs pretty much glide across the ground.

user
Hiuru (Level 5 Killer Klown) @ 2/2/2014 15:31

I would love to know how long that took you to animate, geez!!

user
skittle (Level 9 Nidan) @ 2/2/2014 15:20

Whoa, it doesn't even look like pixel art O_O.
